Assistant Chief receives award

North Charleston Fire Department Assistant Chief William Streuber to receive Outstanding Fire Services Administration Student Award from University of Memphis.

William Streuber a 16-year veteran of the North Charleston Fire Department will receive the Outstanding Fire Service Administration Student Award from the University of Memphis. This annual award is bestowed upon students who demonstrate outstanding contributions in leadership in both the University of Memphis Fire Service Administration Degree program and also in their own communities.

Streuber, an undergraduate student in the distance learning program, will receive the award Sunday April 20, 2008 at the Michael D. Rose Theater on the University of Memphis main campus.
