Operations Division

The City of North Charleston Fire Department currently operates out of 11 stations within a 55 square mile area. There are 6 stations located in North Battalion and 5 stations in the South Battalion. NCFD operates 12 engine companies, 3 ladder companies, 1 heavy rescue company, 2 light squad companies, 1 service company, 1 HAZ-MAT truck and 1 technical rescue truck with trailer.
