2630 Meeting Street Road |

Station 8 protects the southern end of North Charleston. Some of the
oldest areas of the city, such as Union Heights, Accabee, and
Chicora are located here. Due to the close proximity of the houses
to one another and the small size of the streets this has caused
some serious problems over the years. Some of the more spectacular
residential structure fires have taken place here.
